About this Hive Inspection
This Hive Inspection is being led by Steve Esau at the East Atlanta / Tapestry Gardens and Preserve, 909 Walker Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30316. This Hive Inspection begins at 10:00 promptly. Participants will meet at the basketball court, suit up, and walk to the apiary (~200 yards). Parking is on the street so please be respectful of the neighborhood and do not block any driveways. Steve will arrive ~30 minutes prior to the start. It's important to be on time. Once the inspection starts, he will not be able to answer his phone or text.
You are required to bring and wear protective gear. The options are:
- Full bee suit with attached veil, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee jacket with attached veil, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee veil, light colored shirt with long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves
You will not be allowed to participate without the minimum protective equipment required.
