About this Hive Inspection
This Hive Inspection is being led by Jay Parsons. The entrance to the Chastain Park Conservancy is marked on Powers Ferry Road and the driveway crosses the golf course. If there is no employee at the Conservancy, the gate will be locked after the inspection begins, so please be on time. If you need to contact Jay that morning, please use his cell: (404) 379-7621.
You are required to bring and wear protective gear, and will not be able to participate without it. The options are:
- Full bee suit with attached veil, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee jacket with attached veil, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves, or
- Bee veil, light colored shirt with long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, socks, and gloves
Please bring your own water and don't forget to bring your signed waiver which you can download here.
