Join us in person for our annual fundraiser, Swim & SUP the Sound 2021 (BEYC to Leverick Bay), and Family Fun Day on Sunday, June 6th.  

Race categories:

One Mile Swim -CATEGORY IS FULL
One Mile Assisted Swim (mask, fins, or mermaid costume - feel free to get creative) -CATEGORY IS FULL
Two Mile Swim
Two Mile Assisted Swim (mask, fins, or mermaid costume - feel free to get creative)
2.5 Mile Stand Up Paddle-board (SUP) - a portion of the proceeds from the SUP race will be donated to PAWS
Half-Mile Swim - NEW 
Half-Mile Swim Assisted (mask, fins, or mermaid costume - feel free to get creative) - NEW

Race Entry Fee: $75 without a Tech T-shirt, $100 with the event-logo long-sleeve Tech T-shirt.

  • If you'd like to order your race t-shirts, please make sure to do so by 10 pm on Sunday, May 30th. For orders placed after Sunday, May 30th we can't guarantee the shirts will be ready for race day but once they are ready they can be collected at our offices.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
  • All B.V.I Covid-19 protocols will be in place and enforced, such as the proper wearing of masks, hand sanitation, temperature checks, and social distancing
  • Due to capacity limits, we are only able to host 200 people total at Leverick Bay! YOU MUST be registered before Wednesday, June 2, 2021
  • Day-of registrations will not be accepted
  • Everyone on the ferry will need to have their temperature checked, and those coming from Virgin Gorda will get their temperature checked upon arrival at Leverick Bay
Waiver: Please read this year’s waiver found on VISAR's website Event page.
We will have a paper waiver to sign for those registering in person at VISAR's Base. 

Transportation: Is included in your registration and/or BBQ payment and is provided by Romasco.  The ferry will leave from the dock behind the Waterfront Apartments/Conch Charter/The Pub at 7:45am.

Cheer Squad:
This is a perfect event to bring your friends and family along to cheer you on!  Round trip ferry ride and Leverick Bay’s Famous BBQ lunch is only $55 for adults and $35 for kids.   If you’re already on VG, BBQ prices are $25 for adults and $10 for kids under 12.
Please Note: Due to COVID-19, you will need to pre-register for the cheer squad and BBQ before the deadline of Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Family Fun Day:
Due to COVID-19  Protocols, only 20 kids will be able to participate; please make sure to pre-register your child before the deadline of Wednesday, June 2, 2021Family Fun Day is free and you can sign up for it, during the registration process for the race or BBQ. 

Corporate Challenge:
This two-person team will represent their office with the hopes of coming in first and taking back a magnum of champagne. Each team's swim times will be averaged to determine the fastest one-mile swimming team! Only one person from each team needs to sign up and process the payment online.  

Make it a weekend but don't forget to mention your a contestant…

SUP'ers:
Paddleboards can be transported on Speedy's Ferry.  If you need to rent a board we'd suggest...
Breeze Paddle Surf, Blue Rush Watersports (Leverick Bay), BVI SUP, Sail Caribbean Divers, and Island Surf & Sail also rent boards.

Tentative Schedule of Events…

Registration begins on Sunday, June 6th, at 8:30 am at Leverick Bay.

7:45 am*: Romasco Ferry will leave WaterFront Apts near Conch Charters for a direct ride to Leverick Bay Marina
9:30 am | 10 am: Boats will leave Leverick Bay for Bitter End Yacht Club Dock
10am: SUP race starts
10 am: Kids activities start (arts and crafts, relay race, and treasure hunt)
10:30 am: 1 and 2-mile swim race starts and also half-mile swim 
11 am: BBQ begins 
12:30 am: Family games begin
1:30 pm: Trophies will be awarded, Raffle winners announced 
2:15 pm: Romasco Ferry will leave WaterFront Apts
