This year, our vision is clear—we want to raise $24,000 for the organizations we support: Children's Center for the Visually Impaired, Alphapointe, and the Delta Gamma Foundation. Your donation will be used to send kids to Adventure Camp, provide classroom supplies and tuition assistance at CCVI, provide low-vision services for seniors at Alphapointe, and more. You can help with a quick and easy cash donation.
We are taking the year off from hosting an event to explore and develop a new fundraising event for 2025. The good news? Without the cost of a venue rental, food, and other event costs, 100% of your tax-deductible donation goes to our beneficiaries. Your donation will greatly impact the children who attend CCVI and the youth, adults, and seniors who use Alphapointe Services.
Choose how much you want to donate. Every dollar is impactful and appreciated. Here are some examples of how your donation will be used:
- $25 buys a CCVI student a white cane or a Braille book
- $95 provides one hour of Braille instruction at Alphapointe
- $500 provides one functional vision evaluation at CCVI
- $1200 pays for one child to attend an overnight youth Adventure Camp in Parkville.
As you can see, the costs add up quickly! Ninety percent of your donation will help cover these costs for many who need Alphapointe and CCVI's services but cannot afford them. Even the 10% our chapter donates to the Delta Gamma Foundation is slated for "Service for Sight," which comes back to our KC area.
