This was the end of slavery in the United States and this event will be about it’s history. We will also talk about what was promised to the slaves which was 40 acres and a mule, and how the cost of living has changed for various communities, including Denver. The topic will touch on how money can shackle us from making progress and how changes in our thinking can make us more prosperous. We will be breaking out in groups for a group exercise. Lunch served.
